Why Kenneth LeBlanc?

Kenneth LeBlanc is stepping forward to represent District 2 — not for politics, but for people.

Now retired and fully dedicated to District 2, Kenneth brings full-time focus to city council — backed by two decades of hands-on leadership, neighborhood outreach, and youth empowerment across the Wiregrass.

“I’m not just running to represent District 2 — I’m here to serve it, with full-time commitment and community-first action.”

🔶 A Strategic Vision for District 2

Your voice deserves more than a vote — it deserves results.
Kenneth’s campaign is rooted in accessibility, accountability, and action.

These aren’t new ideas — they’re the natural next steps from years of connecting residents, supporting families, and stepping up when the community needed it most.

First 100 Days – Short-Term Agenda

🔹 Launch Monthly Listening Sessions
Hold regular gatherings at local restaurants and parks where neighbors can connect with each other and share concerns directly. These sessions will build stronger community engagement and ensure that residents help shape the direction of District 2 — with clear, transparent follow-up after every meeting.

🔹 Start a District 2 Info Network
Launch a dedicated District 2 website and Facebook page to share updates, gather feedback, and plan community events together. Residents will receive email, social, and printed updates — and be able to submit issues, respond to polls, and help shape our neighborhood priorities.

🔹 Partner for Community Safety Projects
Work with residents to identify urgent needs like broken streetlights, faded crosswalks, and sidewalk repairs — and push for city action to improve daily life.

🔹 Strengthen District Emergency Readiness
Ensure every part of District 2 is connected to the city’s disaster plan — focusing on awareness, communication, and neighborhood preparedness.

🔹 Build Community Through Youth & Adult Programs
Develop low-cost, high-impact programs that align with initiatives from the Governor’s Commission on Physical Fitness, Alabama State Games, and education-focused certifications. District 2 will serve as the pilot hub for these efforts — from fitness events to mentoring and skill-building opportunities — creating a model of community growth that can expand citywide.

Long-Term Priorities for a Stronger District 2

🔹 Safe & Connected Streets
Upgrade lighting, fix sidewalks, and improve drainage to build walkable, welcoming communities.

🔹 Public Services Access
Advocate for seniors, veterans, and working families to receive timely, clear support from city and state programs — with better communication and follow-through.

🔹 Prepare District 2 for Smart, Inclusive Growth
As Enterprise expands — especially with the arrival of the new VA Center — Kenneth will work to ensure our neighborhoods are ready. That means advocating for thoughtful planning that puts residents first, including:

  • Collaborating with city leaders to strengthen roads, drainage, and broadband access
  • Supporting veteran services and housing that reflect the needs of our military community

  • Encouraging businesses that provide meaningful services and jobs for local families

Kenneth believes growth should benefit everyone — not just developers. His goal is to make sure District 2 grows with purpose, not just pressure.

🔹 Youth & Opportunity
Expand youth leadership, STEM, sports, and mentoring programs through The LeBlanc Foundation and community partners — helping young people grow into confident community leaders.

🔹 Digital Inclusion
Host digital literacy workshops and bring tech tools to underserved areas — ensuring every resident has access to the tools of today and tomorrow.
